Event Details

Asking for money isn’t easy, regardless of whether you’re fundraising for a cause or trying to get your boss to approve a new project.  The key to success is to keep your donor at the center of your strategy. 

Join us for the 2nd GIVE Learning Seminar of 2011. This two-hour interactive learning seminar will give you fundamental tips and creative strategies to develop a successful fundraising approach.

The seminar will include a panel discussion facilitated by Jim Dickinson, Director of Programs for Business Volunteers Unlimited Maryland, and features the expertise of:

  • Amanda Brannan, Student, St. Margaret Middle School
  • Tom Crawford, Administrative Vice President & Group Manager, M&T Bank
  • Mary Helfrich, Principal of the Helfrich Group, Fundraising, Communications and Public Relations for Non-Profit Organizations  
  • Karyne Henry, President of Orion Enterprises & Consulting Services, Inc.
